Autism Support Group – Next Meeting April 11, 7:00PM

The next meeting of the Autism Support Group will be on the topic “Planning for Special Needs.”

-          Tuesday, April 11 at 7:00pm

-           Lexington Community Center (39 Marrett Rd, Room 230, Lexington)

The discussion will be led by Amit Chawla, who is a parent in Lexington. Amit is a software product manager for a wealth management software company, husband to an estate planning attorney, and dad to two boys. He is also a Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) professional and a Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®). One of his sons has autism and lives in a residential school. His goal is to help people with disabilities and families with special needs members plan for a better future. Ever since his son left for the residential school five years ago, he and his wife have been busy preparing themselves to help him. His wife has been focused on legal aspects and he has been focusing on financial aspects. They moderate a private Facebook group called “Planning for Special Needs.”

Please join us for this discussion! Afterward, we can meet in the center for follow-up snacks/drinks if there is interest.

*Amit is not an attorney. So, please consult an attorney for all legal considerations.
