This month we will be discussing the newly released MA Guidance on Dyslexia from the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE): https://www.doe.mass.edu/sped/dyslexia-guidelines.pdf as well as checking in on how the school year is going for our kids.
Dyslexia Parents Group will have a daytime and an evening meeting in April. Our meetings are open to anyone in the Lexington Public Schools (LPS) who has a child with a language-based learning disability (LLD), such as dyslexia, or whose child struggles with reading and/or writing and who may have LLD and needs to talk with and learn from other parents. Whether or not your child is on an IEP, in the process of establishing one, or you’re just curious and need more information, please come to share your experiences, ask questions, and impart your knowledge in a supportive environment with our amazing and inspiring group of parents.
